FAQs

  • Pricing is based on a variety of factors including: length of the performance; anticipated number of people attending; the style of performance you choose; travel requirements; etc. Due to the fact that Scott tailors the entertainment to the specific needs of each event it's best to submit your information HERE so that Scott can send you a customized quote. It's worth mentioning though, if price is your ONLY consideration, Scott may not be the best fit for your event.

  • Yes. A 100% deposit is required to lock in the date of your event. Once Scott verifies that he is available for your event he will provide you with several convenient options to pay the deposit.

  • Technical requirements only apply to stage performances. There are some basic sound and staging considerations to ensure that your guests have the best possible experience with the incredible entertainment that Scott has planned. Outlined below you'll find more information (additional requirements may be specified at time of booking):

Staging: Scott's stage show requires a minimum performance area of 8 feet deep by 12 feet wide. If you anticipate that more than 50 people will be in attendance then a raised platform (with suitable stair access) is recommended. This will ensure that even those sitting in the back have a clear view of the performance. The stage should be furnished with 2 sturdy chairs.

Lighting: No special lighting effects/equipment are required. Scott merely asks that the performance space be well lit so as to remain clearly visible.

Sound: For groups larger than 80 people a professional sound system is required. Please provide one lavalier (lapel clip) microphone AND at least one hand-held microphone WITH stand.

Room Configuration: The room merely needs to be arranged so that everyone has a clear view of the performance area. Please refrain from seating guests to the extreme right or left of the stage (as well as behind it) as their views will be quite limited.

  • Absolutely! You can rest assured that Scott steers clear of any offensive or off-color language and material. Scott believes that clean entertainment fosters an inviting performance atmosphere. He also recognizes that professionalism is paramount to all successful events, no matter the venue or audience.

  • Not at all! Though, Scott does believe that everyone has an innate sense of intuition and the ability to draw highly accurate assumptions from small amounts of information. Scott leverages his background in finance, organizational psychology and the world of magic to push his demonstrations into the realm of impossibility.

  • Scott lives just outside of Salt Lake City, UT but is available to travel worldwide provided suitable arrangements are made.

  • The short answer is, no. The fuller answer is that Scott does rely on suggestion and principles of hypnosis to relax the people who join him on stage, focus their minds, and help them accomplish some amazing things. At no point though is anyone placed in a true "hypnotic trance" - everyone that participates is fully awake and aware of what is going on around them at all times.

  • As mentioned above, all of Scott's performances are squeaky clean as it relates to the content - so there is no concern if children are in the audience. That said, Scott has noted in the past that those under the age of 14 sometimes don't fully appreciate the impossibility or magnitude of his demonstrations. For that reason alone, more mature audiences are recommended.
